THREE DIMENSIONALLY ORDERED MACROPOROUS POLYIMIDE SEPARATOR FOR RECHARGEBLE LITHIUM BATTERIES

Rechargeable lithium batteries with new generation materials have been extensively investigated in order to realize pure and other electric vehicles. Lithium metal anode is one of promising candidates. However, lithium metal anode cannot be utilized to rechargeable lithium battery due to its low discharge and charge cycleability and dendrite formation of lithium metal during charge. In this study, new type of separator for rechargeable lithium battery with lithium metal anode was prepared and tested.
